Prada goes the sneaker/wingtip fusion route with these newly released calf leather Wingtip Derby sneakers. 5 colors are offered including some two-toned and all tonal pairs. We’re not mad at these. They all look rather nice and we bet they’re comfortable, too. Last season Prada started a big trend with their Espadrille mid-sole infused Wingtip Brogues. This seems to be a more sporty version of that. How do these compare with the Cole Haan LunarGrand?

Yes, Nike is still not done. We are currently attending the second day of the Nike Innovation Summit in New York. Yesterday we previewed the Nike Lunarglide+4, the Nike Flyknit Racer, the Nike Lunar Safari, the Nike Current 2012 and the all new HTM Collection. Today we continue with more innovation, less on the product side, but more on the technological side of things.
Nike today unveiled Nike+ Basketball and Nike+ Training, two new experiences connecting digitally enabled footwear with interactive mobile applications that together deliver a revolutionary sport experience. First unveiled for running products in 2006, NIKE+ has grown into a community of six million digitally connected athletes and is set to expand with the recent launch of the NIKE+ FuelBand, a wrist-based device designed to track everyday activity.
The new Nike+ Basketball experience breaks down the user’s game to deliver information and measurement, which in turn provides motivation. Nike+ Basketball measures how high, how hard and how quick players play each game.
Check out the video here below to see how it works.
Nike+ Training transforms a daily workout from a necessity to something fun. The experience fuses the appeal of gaming with high-intensity fitness to create the perfect training companion to a 24/7/365 lifestyle.
The technology in both experiences utilizes a new Nike+ Pressure Sensor built into each shoe that collects information about the user’s movement and then wirelessly transmits data to their phone. It is then translated into different metrics delivering previously unknown information about either their workout or their game.
The first Nike+ enabled Basketball shoe will be the Nike Hyperdunk+ which will be worn by LeBron James this summer.
The first Nike+ enabled Training shoes will be the Lunar Hyper Workout+ for Women and the Lunar TR 1+ for men.
All three shoes to feature the new Nike+ technology are part of the Lunarlon collection, which combines advanced NIKE Flywire technology with a sports specific Nike Lunarlon cushioning system.
All styles of the Nike+ enabled footwear will be available and at retail June 29, 2012, in the US, UK, France, Germany and Mainland China.

Having the cyclist in mind, Levi’s launched last year their all new Commuter Collection. Not only did they use stretch denim fabric on the jeans, but they also added a special loop for the bike lock and reflective panels, ensuring that the denim is functional and has all the features needed by somebody that is on the bike daily.
Here we take a look now at the latest colors of the Levi’s Commuter Denim for Spring 2012. Next to a more classic raw denim version, they will also come this season in black, olive, blue and red.

After just recently presenting the new Mercedes-Benz SL roadster, the new high performance version of the sports car, the SL 63 AMG, is also ready for the road.
The new version of the high-performance roadster impresses on several counts: lightweight construction, a boost in output and driving dynamics, and 30 percent lower fuel consumption and emissions. Thanks to an all-aluminium bodyshell, similar to that of the SLS AMG super sports car, the SL 63 AMG weight has been reduced by 125 kilograms. With a weight of 1845 kilograms and an output of 537 hp, the new model will no doubt impress. A further boost in performance comes courtesy of a winning combination: enhanced AMG sports suspension based on Active Body Control (ABC), new AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, the AMG high-performance compound brake system and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission.
The new Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG will be launched in May 2012, with prices starting at 160′000 Euros.

Japanese architects Wonderwall recently created the interior design of Seoul based concept store Man On The Boon by leading Korean department store Shinsegae.
“The shop interior design concept is derived from the name of the store the home of a fictional character “Mr. BOON.” Every scene of his life, including his background, is reflected on the shop design, giving shoppers a feeling that they are peeping into his life. This way, the shop offers the latest collection of items that Mr. BOON, a young globe-trotting archaeologist, has collected from around the world and is constantly being updating. The shop design gives shoppers the pleasure to come and see his closet.”
The store came out beautiful, as expected, using a nice mix of warm colors and materials, as well as sharp modern elements. Wonderwall us known for using a lot of glass and metal, as seen in their Bape store designs, and some of that signature is still apparent at Man On The Boon. We love the use of trunks, skulls, the mix of glass and wooden vitrines, and the general look of the store, which is both modern, yet comfortable.
Man On The Boon stocks Acne, Adam Kimmel, Ambush, Band of Outsiders, Bedwin, Mark McNairy, Nanamica, White Mountaineering, Opening Ceremony, Woolrich Woolen Mills and many other outstanding brands.

Last year, after the Sneakermuseum exhibition, we already provided a rather thorough history of the collaborative work by Nike and Stussy. Today we take another look and offer a complete look at all sneakers produced together by the two iconic brands.
“In 2000, Stussy partnered with Nike to produce two exciting new colors of the Air Huarache LE shoe in very limited numbers. This sneaker collaboration was the first of its kind and has continued regularly since then incorporating several models of old Nike shoes including the Dunk High, Blazer, Air Huarache Light, Court Force, Free Trail 5.0, Trainer Dunk Low, Terminator, All Court Mid and Sky Force 88 Mid. The Stussy x Nike relationship has provided a platform to introduce new colors, fabrics, updates and designs to the sneaker market and even break ground on new sneaker models. Stussy Nike highlights include the Stussy Nike Dunk, 25th anniversary Stussy x Nike XXV Court Force, Stussy x Nike World Tour Dunk High, Stussy x Nike World Tour Free Trail 5.0, Stussy x Nike World Tour Trainer Dunk Low, Stussy x Nike x Neighborhood Boneyards Blazer, Stussy x Nike x Neighborhood Boneyards Terminator and the 30th anniversary Stussy x Nike XXX All Court Mid. There was also a Nike SB Dunk Stussy model developed under the Stussy Nike SB (Stussy SB) program. Many of these rare Nike shoes have become highly regarded among sneaker heads, collectors and shoe enthusiasts around the globe. The Stussy x Nike shoes are available exclusively at Stussy Chapter Stores and select Nike Tier 0 accounts.”
For over 10 years the two have been working together already and you can be sure that a lot more will come from the partnership in the future.
Check out all collaborative sneakers by Nike and Stussy now after the jump.
